When I need to cook just a little bacon (fewer than 5 strips), I turn to my air fryer. It’s important to use thick cut bacon with this method, but that’s the only kind I buy.

So lay the strips down on the bottom of the tray, being sure not to overlap any. My air fryer can handle up to 5 slices. Set the temp up to 380° and the time to 9 minutes, and start.

No flipping, no spattering. 9 minutes later, you have perfectly crisp bacon. Dab with a paper towel to remove excess grease from the surface. Don’t forget to pour off the grease from the cooker. If you forget, just run the air fryer for a minute or two at normal temp to heat up the congeled grease and then pour it off.
